Character Education - Why Bother?

‘Character Education’ was a hot topic at the London Festival of Education last week. Views ranged from those believing it’s not something that can be taught because it’s hereditary, through to listing all the different elements which encompass character education in a school setting from ‘professionalism’ and ‘spark’ to ‘grit’ and ‘craftsmanship’. I'm taking the common sense route of assuming that character is something we can influence, and share my thoughts about supporting the development of entrepreneurial character in our children. read more
